This four year program is designed to prepare students who aspire for management positions in hospitality and services organizations, in both the private and public sectors. It is distinguished by its emphasis in combining theory with the practical application of concepts and managerial skills, with an added focus in internationalization.
The focus of the modules is in imparting knowledge and skills in both service management and hospitality management.
Programs and activities
In the first year students are introduced to the hospitality and services industry highlighting the different aspects of services and the customer in the context of service.
The second and third years encompass a range of managerial modules focusing on operations management, human resource management in a hospitality context, understanding the hospitality and services value chain and Marketing in hospitality.
Attention: To complete the academic requirements of your Dutch Bachelor of Business Administration degree, you have to obtain 60 ECTS in the Netherlands. In practice, this means that you will spend either part of your second and third or the entire third year at one of our campus locations in the Netherlands.
The focus of the fourth year is on financial and strategic management and this then is followed by a minimum four months industrial placement at relevant and appropriate hospitality or service organizations.
