Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG)
LPG is a mixture of hydrocarbon gases (Propane and Butane) used as a fuel in heating appliances and vehicles. It is increasingly replacing chlorofluorocarbons as an aerosol propellant and a refrigerant to reduce damage to the ozone layer, inferring that it is flammable. Qatargas 2 produces 0.85 mtpa of LPG while Laffan Refinery produces 9,000 barrels per stream day (bpsd).
